The Israeli SAF Doctoral Network Research Hackathon

The Israeli Sustainable Aviation Fuel Knowledge Center (iSAF)— supported by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy— is thrilled to announce a unique Research Hackathon dedicated to the Israeli SAF Doctoral Network.

About the Hackathon This intensive, two-day event is specifically designed to ignite new academic research and break down institutional silos. By deliberately mixing doctoral students and researchers from various academic institutions across the country, the hackathon aims to foster unprecedented interdisciplinary collaborations and generate fresh scientific approaches to Sustainable Aviation Fuel.

Participants will form cross-institutional teams to tackle complex SAF hurdles, bridging the gap between advanced academic theory and practical, real-world applications.

Mapping Israel's SAF Ecosystem As a key outcome of this gathering, we will publish a comprehensive mapping of the current SAF landscape and ongoing activities in Israel at the conclusion of the event, providing a valuable resource for the entire community.
