Description

The 2nd Annual Israeli SAF Conference The 2nd Israeli Sustainable Aviation Fuel Knowledge Center (iSAF), supported by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, is pleased to invite researchers from academia, industry, and government to register and participate in the 2nd Annual Israeli SAF Conference. This premier event will bring together leading experts from across the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) ecosystem to showcase cutting-edge innovations, identify key technological and scientific gaps, and outline future directions for the field.

Keynote Speakers

  • Dr. Mark Rumizen – Chairman, ASTM International Aviation Fuels Committee
  • Prof. Corinne D. Scown – Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, UC Berkeley

About the Conference

The 2nd Annual Israeli SAF Conference marks another important milestone for Israel’s growing sustainable aviation community. Building on the success of the first conference, this second conference will once again convene leading researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers from across the country. Participants will engage in knowledge exchange, highlight recent advances, and explore opportunities to accelerate the development and deployment of SAF technologies in Israel. The gathering of key stakeholders across academia, industry, and government underscores the collaborative effort required to advance this critical field. A special highlight of the conference will be the participation of students from the Israeli SAF Doctoral Network, who will present their research through poster sessions and short “flash talks.” These presentations will provide a unique glimpse into the next generation of scientific and technological innovation in sustainable aviation. The conference offers a dynamic platform for:
  • Networking and community building
  • Interdisciplinary dialogue
  • Showcasing innovation
  • Fostering new collaborations and partnerships
Together, these efforts will help shape the future of Sustainable Aviation Fuel in Israel and beyond.
